INDIANAPOLIS — Legendary placekicker Adam Vinatieri, the NFL’s all-time leading scorer, will be inducted into the Indianapolis Colts Ring of Honor during the team’s Week 6 home game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, October 18, at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The announcement marks the official anchor event for the Colts’ 2026 gameday theme schedule. Vinatieri will become the 21st member enshrined in the franchise’s Ring of Honor, joining legendary former teammates Peyton Manning, Marvin Harrison, Edgerrin James, Reggie Wayne, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, and Jeff Saturday.
The franchise honor caps off a monumental year for the iconic kicker, who was named to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026 and will receive his gold jacket in Canton, Ohio, this August.
Two Decades of Clutch Excellence
Over a legendary 24-year NFL career—10 seasons with the New England Patriots (1996–2005) and 14 with the Indianapolis Colts (2006–2019)—Vinatieri cemented his reputation as the most dependable postseason kicker in football history.

After signing with Indianapolis in 2006, Vinatieri immediately delivered during the franchise’s Championship run. He set an NFL postseason record by converting 14 field goals during the 2006 playoffs, including scoring all 15 points in the Colts’ 15-6 AFC Divisional victory over the Baltimore Ravens and kicking three field goals in Super Bowl XLI to help secure Indianapolis’ world title.
“Adam was the ultimate big-game weapon. When the game was on the line, there was no one in football history you would rather have stepping up to make the kick.”
