BEDFORD — The Bedford Planning Commission will convene for its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, July 14th, to discuss a new development proposal involving prominent commercial parcels in the city.
The meeting is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. at the Bedford Municipal Hall, located at 1617 K Street. Community members who are unable to attend the session in person can watch a live broadcast of the proceedings online via the city’s official Facebook page.
Following the call to order, the commission will vote on the approval of the minutes from its previous regular meeting held on June 9, 2026. According to the published agenda, there is no pending old business scheduled for discussion.
Under new business, the commission will shift its focus to a single public hearing regarding regional property development:
- Preliminary Hearing for MFM Bedford, LLC: The applicant is requesting a replat of Lot 1 of the Stone City Properties Minor Subdivision, alongside a portion of Section 15, Township 5 North, Range 1 West, Outlot 1.
The request impacts a combined 6.72 acres of commercial real estate, encompassing parcel numbers 47-06-15-300-062.000-010 and 47-06-15-300-032.000-010.
Residents will recognize the area as the current location of the Culver’s and Del Taco restaurants situated near the intersection of John Williams Boulevard and Limestone Drive. MFM Bedford, LLC is seeking approval from the commission to officially re-subdivide the existing footprint into three distinct parcels.
Following the preliminary hearing and a period for board discussion, the meeting will move to adjournment.
