Lane closures planned for I-69 in Daviess County

DAVIESS COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces alternating lane closures for I-69 in Daviess County.

Beginning on or around Tuesday, July 7, crews will begin alternating lane closures on I-69 near Elnora. These lane closures will occur between the 73-mile marker and the 80-mile marker.

These alternating lane closures will allow for minor patching and bridge deck overlay work. This work is expected to last through mid-September, depending on the weather.

Work will occur on one lane at a time, with one lane open to traffic in both directions. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
