LAWRENCE COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces alternating lane closures for State Road 60 in Lawrence County.
Beginning on or around Monday, June 29, crews will begin alternating lane closures near Mitchell. These lane closures will occur between Old Highway 60 W and Sonny Dorsett Road.
Alternating lane closures will allow for a small structure pipe lining project. Work is expected to take two weeks to complete, depending on the weather.
Lane closures will occur during the daytime. One lane of traffic will remain open during this project. Traffic flow will be controlled with a flagger. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
