BEDFORD — Additional funding for county workers and a wave of department head personnel updates will take center stage next week at the Lawrence County Courthouse.
The Lawrence County Council will convene for its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. inside the Commissioners’ Room. Chief among the items up for public consideration is a proposed additional stipend for county employees, alongside critical budget transfers and hiring requests spanning several local law enforcement and judicial branches.
