INDIANAPOLIS – Bedford North Lawrence’s Paige Voigtschild finished 15th in the 800 meter race during the IHSAA girls track state championships on Friday night at North Central.
Voigtschild, who was seeded 16th for the event, clocked 2:17.83. She set the school record of 2:15.59 during the regional in Bloomington.
Bloomington South’s Ellie Barada won the state race in 2:05.33.
Orleans senior Callie Alston finished fifth in the high jump at 5-6 to earn All-State honors.
BNL’s Tripp Stahl and Luke Morris will compete in the boys state meet on Saturday. BNL’s Unified team will also compete in the state finals.
