OOLITIC — The Oolitic Town Council will convene for an executive session next month to consult with legal counsel.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. EDT. It will take place in the boardroom at Town Hall, located at 109 Main Street, Oolitic, IN 47451.
In accordance with state law, this session will be closed to the general public.
The council is meeting specifically to hold communications with an attorney that are subject to the attorney-client privilege. The executive session is legally authorized under Indiana Code § 5-14-1.5-6.1(b)(19), which governs public meetings and administration.
No public comment will be taken, and official votes or final actions cannot legally be executed during an executive session; any such actions must occur during a subsequent regular public meeting.
