KNOX COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane closures for U.S. 41 in Knox County.
Beginning on or around Monday, June 8, crews will begin lane closures near Oaktown. These lane closures will occur on three bridges. These bridges are located over Maria Creek and the CSX bridges in Oaktown.
Lane closures will allow for bridge maintenance operations. Work is expected to take a week to complete, depending on the weather. One lane of travel will remain open in the work zone. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
