May 31, 1970 – May 24, 2026
Andrew Selbee passed away peacefully at his home on May 24, 2026, surrounded by loving friends and family.
Born May 31, 1970, in Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of Kenneth and Mary Louise (Benham) Selbee. Andrew was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and faithful servant of God. Throughout his life, he remained steadfast in his faith, even through life’s challenges; his trust in God became an inspiration to those around him. Andrew’s kindness, compassion, and unwavering love for his family reflected the strength of his character and the depth of his faith.
Andrew graduated from Brownsburg High School in 1989 and was an accomplished Eagle Scout with achievements that reflected his love for service, leadership, and respect for nature. He greatly enjoyed spending time outdoors with his poodles, being on the water, traveling, and making memories with his family. Most importantly, Andrew loved serving the Lord as a dedicated member of Life Tabernacle.
Andrew worked at Visteon in Bedford until its closure. Following that chapter of his life, he earned a degree in radiology from Ivy Tech Community College. Although he never worked in the radiology field, Andrew found his true calling in hospitality, serving at local family-friendly restaurants where he became well known and loved by many. He was notorious for his positive attitude, bright smile, warm conversations, endless laughter, and for never letting anyone’s drink run dry
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Louise (Benham) Selbee and Kenneth Selbee. Andrew leaves behind his beloved wife, Laurie Selbee; his children, Erika Fields, Travis Lee, and wife Nicole; Allison Selbee, Christopher Lee, and the twins, Austin and Adam Selbee; five grandchildren, Sophie, Lucas, Brynlee, Sterling, and Kade; and his sister and her husband, LouAnn (Richard) Shelton
Andrew will be remembered for his loving heart, his devotion to family, and the encouragement he gave to others through his enduring faith and perseverance. His life was a testament to the power of love, grace, and remaining faithful through all seasons of life.
Though he will be deeply missed, his family finds comfort in the memories they shared and the lasting legacy of faith and love he leaves behind
