BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Police Department is seeking assistance from members of the public in identifying the individual in the photograph wearing the white shirt, black pants, and white and black shoes.
On May 24, 2026, at approximately 10:10 p.m., officers with the Bloomington Police Department responded to The Rive Bloomington, located at 1820 North Walnut Street, in reference to a report of shots fired.
Upon the arrival of officers, it was determined that a large party had been taking place on the rooftop patio of the building. During the party, surveillance cameras captured video of the pictured male as he removed a handgun from his waistline and fired numerous rounds into the air in rapid succession.
Partygoers began running from the area, and the man was last seen on camera running from the building to the southwest. Officers did locate four spent .45 caliber shell casings at the scene, but did not locate any property damage nor any injured individuals.
