RHODE ISLAND – Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales attended this year’s International Association of Commercial Administrators (IACA) Conference. The event brings together business and government leaders from across the United States and abroad to strengthen commercial administration and modernize business services.

The IACA Conference provides an international platform for collaboration among secretaries of state, corporation registrars, and commercial administrators on issues ranging from corporate registration standards and fraud prevention to technology innovation. Indiana’s Business Services Division—under the Secretary of State’s Office—plays a central role in supporting Hoosier entrepreneurs and companies, and the insights gained at IACA help ensure the Hoosier state remains competitive, responsive, and business-friendly.
“Each year, the IACA Conference provides an important opportunity to collaborate with leaders in commercial administration from across the country and around the world. As Secretary of State, I remain committed to ensuring Indiana continues to lead with innovation and efficiency for our business community, while learning from the best practices and ideas shared at this conference,” said Diego Morales, Indiana Secretary of State.
Under Secretary Morales’ leadership, Indiana continues to prioritize efficient, transparent, and customer-focused business registration services. During the IACA Conference, members of the Indiana Business Services Division served on a panel and presented to conference attendees. Participation in IACA reflects a strong commitment to continuous improvement and cooperation between states.
IACA is a professional association for government administrators of business organizations and secured transactions registries at the state, provincial, territorial, and national levels. Attendees from more than 40 states and countries attended this year’s conference. This is the 49th year of the IACA Conference.
