MITCHELL — South Lawrence Utilities announced Wednesday that the boil order issued on April 29, 2026, has been officially lifted.
The order originally impacted customers along State Road 60 West, spanning from Sonny Dorsett Road to the junction of State Road 60 West and US Highway 50 West, as well as surrounding areas.
Water testing has confirmed that the supply once again meets all safety standards, and residents in the affected zones no longer need to boil water before consumption.
South Lawrence Utilities thanks its customers for their patience and cooperation during this period.
