Obituary: Patricia “Trish” Anne Flynn

February 28, 1956 – April 22, 2026

Patricia “Trish” Anne Flynn, 70, of Springville, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at her residence.

Born February 28, 1956, in Linton, she was the daughter of Harvey and Mary (King) Fields. She married David Flynn on March 15, 1974, and he survives. She retired as an Explosives Handler at Crane Army Ammunition (CAAA). Patricia loved cooking, baking, sewing, and spending time with her family, friends, and grand dogs.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Flynn of Springville; a son, Zachary (Amanda) Flynn; a daughter, Ashley (Tadd) Hedrick; seven siblings, John (Donna) Fields, David Fields, Tena Carmichael (fiancé Steve Gerkin), Pam (Mark) Korvela, Harvey Jr. (Tracy) Fields, Rick (Tammy Fields), Angie (Randy) Stoll; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Roger Fields, in-laws Darrell and Lois Flynn, sister-in-law Kathy Arthur, and brother-in-law Dwight Carmichael.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 28 th, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Howell Cemetery in Koleen. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Monday, April 27 th, at Day & Carter Mortuary. Memorial contributions can be made to Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services.
