LAWRENCE COUNTY – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the beginning of Phase 3 of an intersection improvement project at State Road 37 and Washboard Road.
Beginning on or around Monday, April 27, crews will close the intersection of State Road 37 and Washboard Road near Judah. During this closure, recently completed median U-turns will be open to traffic.
Intersection closure will allow for the reconstruction of the intersection as part of an intersection improvement project. Traffic will utilize recently completed median U-turns to make left turns at this intersection. Work on Phase 3 is expected to last through mid-May, depending on the weather. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.
