INDIANA – As a public service, Pet Friendly Services of Indiana has launched a new, statewide Spay/Neuter Resource Directory, making it easier for pet owners and local officials to find affordable options close to home.

This free directory is searchable by county and includes low-cost clinics, transport programs (to clinics), voucher programs, and mobile clinics across Indiana, all in one place.
The tool was created in response to a growing need. Many pet owners want to get their pets fixed, but don’t know how to access services. Some Indiana counties are “vet deserts” without a single veterinary clinic.

“Spay/neuter is the only humane solution to pet overpopulation, but access isn’t always simple,” said Cheri Storms, Executive Director of Pet Friendly Services of Indiana. “People want to do the right thing. Now they have a clear place to start.”
Each year, unplanned litters continue to drive shelter intake across the state. By connecting people to existing resources, Pet Friendly Services aims to prevent litter before it happens.
