INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana State Police Superintendent Anthony Scott has announced Brianna “Bri” Wright as the 2025 Dispatcher of the Year. Bri, a dispatcher at the Lowell Regional Dispatch Center serving both the Lowell and Lafayette Districts, was recognized during the annual awards ceremony in Indianapolis.

In 2025, Bri played a major role in improving the center’s training program, developing new materials, and assisting in the training of five new dispatchers. Despite her training workload, she handled 7,861 calls for service, which is 28 percent above the center’s average.
Bri is known for her exceptional composure under pressure and her ability to manage volatile, emotionally charged situations while keeping both the public and responders safe. Her professionalism, dedication, and consistently high performance set a standard for the communications center. Bri is also known around the post and regional dispatch center for her sense of humor and for being the practical joker from time to time.
