BEDFORD – North Lawrence Community Schools is preparing to offer free summer meals to all children 18 years and under for the upcoming summer months. The program is designed to ensure students maintain access to nutritious meals while school is not in session.
The current plan includes two pickup days per week. Each child will receive a total of seven free breakfasts and seven free lunches weekly. Organizers are requesting that parents complete an online survey to help determine scheduling and specific pickup times.
