Patricia Ann (Bourland) Bruin, 85, of Bedford, passed away at 10:35 a.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Majestic Care in Bedford.
Born October 10, 1940, in Dallas, Texas, she was the daughter of her loving parents, William Samuel “Red” and Agnes Marie (Gyger) Bourland. She retired from Walmart, where she worked in the fabric department. She loved the beach, giraffes, and teapots.
Patricia also made rag dolls for the kids, “big and little”. She loved spending time with her family.
Patricia was the loving mother to Michelle (Brian) Brown and Susan (Tom Hearn) Cannon. A loving Mamaw Pat to Bailey (Scottie) Atwell, Jackson, and Grayson Atwell, Jacob (Maggie) Brown, Blake Brown, William (Whitney) Bruin, Alice and Charlie Bruin, Robert Cannon, Rachel (Brandon) Kaminski, Susie (Evan) Sullivan, Colby and Koda Sullivan. Her loving sister, Betty Bourland of Bedford, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Bob “Rabbi” Bourland, a sister, Jeri Cain, her daughter, Lesia Gail Cox, and her grandson, Brandon Brown.
Following Patricia’s wishes, cremation was chosen.
