BEDFORD – David Holmes is announcing his candidacy for Lawrence County Council District 3. David served 13 years as the Lawrence County Highway Superintendent.

David has been married to his wife Crystal for 25 years. David is a lifelong resident of Lawrence County, living in district 3 his whole life. David is a member of the Bedford Baptist Temple as well as the Association of Indiana Counties and the Association of County Highway Engineers and Superintendents.
David is a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School and Oakland City University. He worked 25 years at the Ford/Visteon plant in Bedford until its closure then spent 13 years as County Highway Superintendent. He is currently employed by Novo Nordisk Pharmaceutical in Bloomington as Engineering Maintenance Supervisor for the last 4 1/2 years
I, David Holmes, am a very fiscally conservative person that will, if elected, do my very best to work in the best interest of Lawrence County. The only promise I will make is that I will work diligently to be the best steward on the taxpayers money that I can be. If elected, I will not take this opportunity lightly. I will pay very close attention the budgets and spending of the taxpayers money. I would very much appreciate your consideration in voting for me as your next representative of Lawrence County Council District 3.
Lawrence County Council District 3 consist of Marshall township, Perry township as well as Shawswick township precinct’s 2,12,13 and 14A.Â
