Four Orleans Seniors to compete for 2026 ‘Mr. Dogwood’ title

ORLEANS — Four seniors from Orleans Jr.-Sr. High School are set to compete for the title of 2026 Mr. Dogwood as part of the annual Dogwood Festival festivities.

Jayce Burton, Tristian Holt, Trenton Bush, and Lincoln Padgett will take the stage during the Dogwood Queen Crowning and Opening Ceremonies on April 18 at 5 p.m. at Orleans Elementary School.

The Mr. Dogwood contest is a highlight of the annual celebration, showcasing student talent, personality, and school spirit while providing entertainment for the community. The event is held in conjunction with the crowning of the Dogwood Queen, officially kicking off the festival.

Community members are encouraged to attend and support the contestants. A small admission fee will be charged at the door.

The event is open to the public, and attendees are invited to cheer on their favorite candidate as the four seniors compete for the title.
