BLOOMINGTON – For the more than 11,000 students attending Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington, one day can mean everything. On April 21, Ivy Tech Bloomington will join campuses across Indiana in celebrating the college’s fourth annual Ivy Tech Day. Ivy Tech Day is a 24-hour giving event dedicated to advancing student success, scholarships, and our communities.
Industry partners, alumni, employees, and friends of the college are encouraged to participate and support Ivy Tech students who shape the local workforce.

“Ivy Tech has impacted my life by giving me an opportunity to afford a degree that can further my career, at an affordable price, while I also work full time,” said Destinie Rodriguez-Lopez, Ivy Tech Bloomington nursing student.
Supporters are invited to share their own Ivy Tech success stories on social media, leading up to and on April 21.
“Ivy Tech Day is a celebration of the students, alumni, employees, and employers we serve,” said Chancellor Erik Coyne, Ivy Tech Bloomington. “Every dollar raised directly impacts our students by providing scholarships, career training, and resources to help them succeed. We are excited to see our communities rally together in support of students and economic growth in the region.”
In the past three years, Ivy Tech Bloomington has raised more than $80,000 to support students in our region. The campus serves residents and employers in eight counties, including Brown, Greene, Lawrence, Martin, Morgan, Monroe, Orange, and Owen.
Ivy Tech Bloomington contributes $86.1 million annually to the local economy, and more than 90% of graduates stay to live and work in Indiana.
In addition to sharing success stories on social media to celebrate Ivy Tech Day, donations can be made to Ivy Tech Bloomington. No gift is too small to make a difference for students and families in our communities.
