MITCHELL — The future sound of the Mitchell Junior High School band is about to take its first breath. MJHS has officially announced its Instrument Try-On Night, inviting all current 5th-grade students and their families to get an up-close look at the world of instrumental music.

The event serves as a hands-on introduction for students considering joining the band program next year. It’s a unique “test drive” opportunity where students can move beyond just listening to music and actually start making it.
