Educational sessions on perinatal mental health to be held in Paoli

PAOLI Purdue University Extension, in partnership with the LIFE Family Resource Center of Orange County and the DeKalb County Health Department, will host two educational sessions titled “Understanding Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders” this April.

The program is designed for parents, partners, healthcare professionals, and community members to learn practical ways to support mental health during pregnancy and after the birth of a baby. The sessions will focus on the emotional side of pregnancy, providing a space to connect with others and explore resources that help families thrive.

Two identical sessions are being offered to accommodate different schedules:

  • Wednesday, April 1, 2026: 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST (Registration deadline: March 30)
  • Wednesday, April 15, 2026: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST (Registration deadline: April 13)

Both events will take place at the LIFE Family Resource Center of Orange County, located at 1693 W. Hospital Road in Paoli. Light refreshments will be provided, and attendees will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for door prizes.

This project is funded by Health First Indiana through the DeKalb County Health Department. Interested participants can register online at https://forms.gle/vFXM3PPQuB43YwVXA or by scanning the QR code provided on the event flyer.
