BEDFORD — The Lawrence County Ministerial Alliance will host a community-wide Good Friday service on Friday, April 3, inviting residents of all denominations to come together in reflection and worship.

The service will begin at 7 p.m. at Bedford First Assembly of God, located at 2601 27th Street.
Organizers say the annual gathering is an opportunity for the community to unite in remembrance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ — a foundational belief that ties all Christians together.
Tim Thompson, Pastor of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church, and Pastor Adam Strauser of Bedford Free Methodist Church are members of the Lawrence County Ministerial Alliance and sat down for an episode of WBIW’s Talk of the Town to share more on the service.
Pastor Thompson said of the event:
The Lawrence County Ministerial Alliance, which brings together local faith leaders from across the area, aims to share the message of God’s word and love with the broader community, regardless of church affiliation or denomination.
The Good Friday service is designed to foster unity among congregations while providing a space for reflection during the Easter season.
All members of the public are welcome to attend.
