BLOOMINGTON — As the school year winds down, New Hope for Families is looking ahead to the summer months and calling on community members to help support local families in need.

The organization is currently seeking volunteers to fill a variety of roles for the upcoming summer season, spanning from May through August. New Hope for Families provides essential services, including emergency shelter and high-quality early childhood education, to families experiencing homelessness in the region.
Summer volunteers are needed to assist with several different operational and program-based tasks. Whether you are interested in working directly with children, assisting with administrative needs, or helping maintain the facility, there are multiple ways to get involved.
Interested residents are encouraged to visit the New Hope for Families volunteer page online. There, potential volunteers can read detailed descriptions of each available role and create a volunteer profile to begin the onboarding process.
