BROWN COUNTY – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Dave O’Mara Contractors, Inc. is scheduled to close State Road 45 over Brier Creek on or after Monday, March 30 to complete a bridge deck overlay project in Brown County.
The closure will take place on S.R. 45, approximately 4.5 miles west of State Road 135 near Trevlac. S.R. 45 is expected to reopen in late June, weather permitting. During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route, which follows S.R. 135 to S.R. 46.Â
This project is part of a contract awarded to Dave O’Mara in September 2025. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling near work zones. All work is weather-dependent, and schedules are subject to change.
