Bedford Rotary Club aims for 30-pint goal at upcoming community blood drive

BEDFORD As American Red Cross Month draws to a close, the Bedford Rotary Club is issuing a final call for donors to help meet a critical local need. A community blood drive is scheduled for Tuesday, March 31, at the Central Church of Christ Education Center, with a goal of collecting 30 pints of lifesaving blood for regional patients.

The event comes at a vital time, as the Red Cross uses the month of March to celebrate the “second chances” provided by blood donors. To encourage participation, the organization is offering several exclusive incentives for those who step up to give.

All presenting donors at the March 31 drive will receive a suite of “thank you” gifts and health services:

  • Health Screening: Free A1C testing, a common tool used to screen for prediabetes and diabetes.
  • Digital Reward: A $15 Amazon.com Gift Card (delivered via email).
  • Exclusive Apparel: A limited-edition Red Cross x Life is Good® T-shirt, available while supplies last.

The drive will be held in the Community Room of the Central Church of Christ Education Building, located at 1321 12th St. in Bedford, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
