ORLEANS — As the community prepares for the opening weekend of the 2026 Dogwood Festival, the Orleans Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of its popular Annual Town-Wide Yard Sale.
The event is scheduled for Friday, April 17, and Saturday, April 18. To encourage community-wide participation, the Chamber of Commerce will cover all advertising costs for residents wishing to host a yard or garage sale during these dates.
The event is open to everyone, and there is no fee to participate. This long-standing tradition provides a great opportunity for residents to declutter while welcoming visitors to town for the festival’s kickoff.
To ensure your sale is included in the sponsored advertising, participants must submit their name and address directly to penews@blueriver.net or call or fax 812-865-3242.
All sale information must be submitted directly to The Orleans Progress Examiner. Organizers request that residents do not call the Chamber of Commerce office with sale details, as the newspaper is handling all listings for the event.
