PAOLI — The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is accepting applications for a merit deputy position.
The position offers a starting salary of $52,132 per year, along with health, dental, and vision insurance and 15 paid holidays annually. A $5,000 bonus is available for lateral hires.
Additional benefits include a take-home vehicle for deputies living in Orange County, authorization for outer carriers, beards and tattoos, and participation in the Indiana Sheriff Pension program.
