Rosedale man arrested for child molestation

PARKE COUNTY – Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation after receiving information that a female, under the age of 14, had been molested. 

The investigation revealed that Zachary T. Sampson, 34, of Rosedale, allegedly molested a female under the age of 14. 

After reviewing the investigation, the Parke County Prosecutor’s Office requested an arrest warrant for Sampson.  Parke County Circuit Court granted an arrest warrant on March 2, 2026.  Sampson was arrested yesterday on the active warrant, without incident.  He is currently being held in the Parke County Jail with no bond allowed on two counts child molesting, a Level 4 felony and child solicitation, a Level 5 felony.

Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
