Obituary: Tristan Aramis Vincz

July 26, 2002 – February 20, 2026

Tristan Aramis Vincz, 23, of Williams, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026.

Born July 26, 2002, he was the son of Paige Lennon and Shawn Vincz and Aureola Wright-Vincz
(stepmother).

Tristan played football at Eastern Green High School and graduated with the class of 2020. He earned an academic scholarship at Franklin College where he played football and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics. He went on to attend USI, to further his education to become an Electrical Engineer. He worked as an Engineering Technician at Patriot Engineering, where his brother and mother also work.

He loved puzzles, playing guitar, fishing, and hanging out with his friends and family. When Tristan was in middle school, he went to state and nationals for Scrabble Club where he won state twice.

He was a genuinely kind person, and a selfless friend, brother, son, and grandson. He was always willing to lend an ear or a shoulder, and he was non-judgmental. Even though he did not want to burden others with his sorrows, he never shied away from being supportive of others. If he did not know what to say, he was nearly always willing to listen. Tristan also spent countless hours talking with his friends on Discord and playing video games together.

Surviving to cherish Tristan’s memory are his father, Shawn (Aureola) Vincz; his mother, Paige Lennon; five siblings, Shawna, Byron, Aliana, Abreena, and Elizabeth; maternal grandparents, Phyllis Lennon and Jake Lennon; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Tristan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charlotte Melvin and Donald Vincz; and one sister, Elaina Glory Vincz.

Funeral services for Tristan Aramis Vincz will be at Noon on Saturday, February 28, at The Pavillion, 11130 Golden Park Rd, Williams, IN 47470, with Larry Summerton officiating. Burial will follow at the Holy Ground Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday, February 28, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon, also at The Pavillion.
