BEDFORD — The White River Humane Society is inviting the community to support its new building campaign by dining out later this month at a local restaurant fundraiser.
The nonprofit will host a “Dine to Donate” event on Monday, Feb. 23, at Buffalo Wings and Rings. During the event, 5% of all sales — including both dine-in and carryout orders — will be donated to the White River Humane Society’s New Building Fund.
Organizers said the proceeds from the day will also count toward a $1 million matching contribution tied to the capital campaign, effectively doubling the impact of community participation.
The White River Humane Society is working to raise funds for a new facility aimed at better serving animals and pet owners in the region. The proposed building is expected to provide improved space, resources, and care for animals awaiting adoption.
Supporters can participate simply by dining at the restaurant on the designated date. No additional purchase or ticket is required, and all eligible sales that day will contribute to the fundraising total.
