BEDFORD — Burris Elementary School will host its Fourth Grade Recorder Showcase on Thursday, March 26, offering families a chance to hear students perform and celebrate their musical growth.
The event is scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Burris Gymnasium and will feature an open-house format. Fourth-grade students will perform short song selections in small groups throughout the evening, allowing families to walk through, listen, and see what students have been working on in music class.
Organizers describe the showcase as a celebration of musical progress, highlighting the skills students have developed while learning the recorder. The format is designed to give each student an opportunity to perform while creating a relaxed environment for families to come and go during the hour-long event.
