Renaissance Club will induct two new alumni to the BNL Wall of Fame on Saturday

BEDFORD — The Bedford North Lawrence High School Renaissance Club will induct two distinguished alumni into its Wall of Fame on Saturday, Jan. 31, during halftime of the varsity basketball game at BNL.

The 2025 inductees are Dr. Sarah Armstrong, Class of 1996, and Kip Chase, Class of 1999.

Dr. Sarah Armstrong

Armstrong serves as a Distinguished Engineer for Advanced Hypersonics, a senior technical leadership position within the U.S. Department of Defense. Her work centers on advanced hypersonic technologies and engineering leadership supporting national defense initiatives. She currently resides in Bloomington, Indiana.

Mr. Kip Chase

Chase is Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Eli Lilly and Company’s International Business Unit. He has worked for the company for more than 22 years, with experience spanning sales, marketing, and human resources leadership. Chase currently resides in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The BNL Alumni Wall of Fame is sponsored by the school’s Renaissance Club and recognizes graduates who have demonstrated excellence in their professional careers while serving as role models for current students. Inductees are selected based on leadership, achievement, and contributions to their fields and communities.

Past Wall of Fame inductees include Dr. Jim Sowders and Mark L. Ritter, both Class of 1977; Susan Gales, Class of 1978; Mark E. McKnight, Class of 1979; Ira Godsey, Class of 1981; Mike Fey, Class of 1982; Don Oelze, Dan Bortner and Kelly Fitzgerald Cobb, all Class of 1983; Kamal Girgis, Class of 1984; Jeff Callahan and Michell Medlock Adams, both Class of 1987; Damon Bailey, Class of 1990; Chris May and Andrew “Coby” Short, both Class of 1993; Brandon Buck, Class of 1996; Donald “Donny” Buck, Class of 1998; Jarrod Lentz, Class of 1999; Emily Pentzer, Class of 2001; and Aishah Hasnie, Class of 2002.

The Wall of Fame is displayed at Bedford North Lawrence High School and features photographs and brief biographies of each inductee, highlighting the impact BNL graduates have made beyond the classroom. and serve as role models for current students. Inductees are recognized for professional accomplishments, leadership, and contributions to their fields.
