Trophies of Grace brings faith, fellowship and the outdoors to men’s event hosted by Hillcrest Christian Church Feb. 28

BEDFORD — An outdoor-themed faith outreach is coming to Bedford later this month as Hillcrest Christian Church hosts a Trophies of Grace sportsman’s dinner for men.

The event will take place Feb. 28 at Hillcrest Christian Church, 1130 Hillcrest Road in Bedford. Doors open at 3:30 p.m., with the program beginning at 4:30 p.m. The cost to attend is $20 per man. To purchase your ticket in advance, you can go to Hillcrest Christian Church or buy at the door on the day of the event.

Trophies of Grace is a ministry that partners with churches to host sportsman-style dinners built around professionally displayed, world-class whitetail deer. The organization uses the stories behind the trophy animals to illustrate themes of faith, redemption, and God’s grace, creating an outreach setting designed to appeal to hunters, outdoorsmen, and their friends.

The Bedford event will feature a dinner, a program centered on the trophy-deer display, a faith-based message, and door prizes. Organizers say the relaxed, outdoor-focused atmosphere is intended to make it easy for men to invite friends who may not regularly attend church.

Mark Fugate, Lead Pastor

“This is going to be a great event — don’t miss out,” said Mark Fugate, lead pastor at Hillcrest Christian Church, who encouraged men to plan ahead and bring guests.

The event is open to men of all backgrounds, whether they are avid outdoorsmen or simply interested in fellowship and a shared meal.
