MITCHELL — The Mitchell Winter Guard is calling all aspiring young performers for a day of flags, fun, and “colorful creativity.” On Sunday, March 1, the team will host its “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” Clinic Fundraiser, designed specifically for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.
The clinic offers a unique opportunity for local children to spend an afternoon with the Winter Guard team, learning the basics of flag routine and performance skills in a supportive, high-energy environment.

- Drop-off: 1:00 PM at the Mitchell High School Gym
- Registration Deadline: February 8, 2026
- Cost: $25.00 (includes a clinic t-shirt)
- Optional: $10.00 for a photo package (single and group photos
After a busy afternoon of practice and snacks, participants will have the chance to “shine like little stars” during a special Community Performance. Doors for the performance open at 4:00 p.m, with the show beginning at 4:30 p.m.
In addition to the performance, the Winter Guard team will be selling candy bars for $2.00 to further support the program’s upcoming season.
