BEDFORD — The Bedford Police Department released its December 2025 activity report, highlighting drug seizures, arrests, and day-to-day calls for service handled throughout the month.

According to the report, officers seized several types of illegal drugs as part of their enforcement efforts. The department reported taking 14 grams of methamphetamine off the streets, along with 8 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 6 grams of marijuana, and 2 grams of controlled substances.
The report also shows Bedford Police made three OWI arrests and served nine warrants during December.
In addition to drug and warrant activity, officers conducted 99 traffic stops, which resulted in 10 citations. The department also responded to 68 traffic accidents during the month.
Overall, Bedford Police logged 1,081 incident and case numbers in December, reflecting a steady workload ranging from traffic enforcement to criminal investigations and community calls for service.
