ORLEANS — The Orleans Alumni Association has officially begun preparations for its annual gathering, inviting graduates from across the decades to return home this summer. The 2026 Orleans Alumni Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, June 6, at 6:30 p.m. in the Orleans High School gymnasium.

This year’s festivities will shine a special spotlight on all “Honor Classes”—those ending in the number six. Highlighting the evening will be the Class of 1976, which celebrates its Golden 50th Anniversary this year.
Organizers are currently seeking Class Representatives for each honor year to help coordinate with classmates and assist in planning additional reunion activities throughout the weekend.
To ensure proper seating and catering, attendees are reminded of the following:
Tickets go on sale May 1st. All tickets must be purchased in advance; no tickets will be sold at the door.
Association President Mike Magill emphasized that the banquet is not only a time for celebration but also a vital fundraiser for local students. Each year, the association awards several scholarships to graduating seniors. Magill noted that donations or memorials of any amount toward the scholarship fund are greatly appreciated and help sustain the educational legacy of O.H.S.
For financial inquiries or to submit scholarship donations, Alumni Treasurer Christie Morgan can be reached at the Orleans Public Library.
