Indiana Arts Commission launches ‘Vision & Venture’ workshop for emerging creatives

INDIANA– The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) has announced that applications are now open for Vision & Venture, a new six-week workshop series designed to equip emerging creatives with essential business skills and compliance knowledge.

The program is explicitly aimed at artists and creatives with less than 1 year of business experience. The interactive workshops will focus on the fundamental start-up tasks required to manage a creative career or small business successfully.

The Vision & Venture series was developed in direct response to findings from the statewide Artist Needs Assessment launched by the IAC in the fall of 2023. The assessment identified an apparent demand for:

  • Financial education
  • Increased networking and mentoring opportunities for artists

The workshops will be led by Dr. Elaine Grogan Luttrull of Minerva Financial Arts, an expert dedicated to providing financial education tailored for the arts community.Key Dates for Applicants
