MITCHELL – The Mitchell Chamber of Commerce is spreading holiday cheer and inviting residents to participate in its annual Holiday Lighting Contest! Show off your festive creativity for a chance to win a special prize and bragging rights.
This year’s contest features three exciting categories for participants to compete in:
- Theme: For the most creative and cohesive decorative presentation.
- Rookie: A special category for first-time participants.
- Queen’s Choice: A unique honor selected by the judging panel.
The stakes are high, as each category winner will receive one 2026 annual park pass.
Participation is open to addresses within the Mitchell School System boundaries.

Judging will take place on Friday, December 19, 2025. Winners will be announced on Monday, December 22, 2025.
