ORLEANS — The Orleans Chamber of Commerce is once again helping local youngsters send their Christmas wishes directly to the North Pole by sponsoring a special Santa Mailbox this holiday season.
The festive mailbox is now set up just outside the Chamber Office/Welcome Center, located on the north side of the historic Orleans town square.
How to Send Wishes to Santa
Local children eager to share their Christmas wishes can pick up special postcards for Santa free of charge at various businesses around town.
Here are the key details for participation:
- Free Postcards: Available now at participating local businesses.
- No Postage Required: The special postcards do not require any stamps.
- Drop-Off Location: Cards must be dropped directly into the designated “Santa” Box at the Chamber Office/Welcome Center, not into regular Post Office boxes.
All collected cards will be forwarded to Santa at the North Pole to ensure he receives every wish before his Christmas Eve ride. As an added local treat, selected postcards may also be featured in upcoming editions of The Orleans Progress Examiner.
