ORLEANS — The Orleans Chamber of Commerce is inviting the entire community to don their holiday best for the 11th Annual Orleans Santa Hat Run/Walk on Saturday, December 14th.
The run/walk will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the Historical Congress Square. Participants should meet near the bandstand.
The cost is free to participate.
This popular, free community event encourages participants of all ages to join the fun and create a massive “Sea of Santa Red” as they run and walk through Orleans.

The event features a new start time this year, gathering in the historic town square:
- What: 11th Annual Orleans Santa Hat Run/Walk
- When: Saturday, December 13th, at 3:00 PM (New Start Time)
- Where: Historic Congress Square (Participants should meet near the Bandstand, close to the traffic light).
- Cost: Free!
This is a fun, non-competitive event where participants choose their own pace and distance. The route will be run/walked on sidewalks under street lamps.
The Chamber encourages everyone to wear their best “Santa Hat” and join the festive spirit.
While all ages are welcome for this family-friendly event, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
