Hoosier companies shine at AEM Advocacy Awards, HCC Inc. wins top honors

INDIANA – HCC Inc. has cemented its status as a leader in equipment manufacturing advocacy by capturing the highly coveted Pillar of the Industry Award at the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) 2025 Annual Conference. The Mendota, Illinois-based company, which has deep roots and a significant operational presence across the Midwest, including Indiana, was recognized for its exceptional commitment to advancing industry policy priorities.

The prestigious award, presented in Miami, Florida, during the conference on November 19–21, honors a company for its leadership in AEM’s advocacy efforts, grassroots engagement, and public affairs initiatives.

Columbus, Indiana-based global power leader Cummins was recognized with a Gold Award, reflecting a critical level of engagement in advancing pro-manufacturing policies. Cummins’ commitment to ensuring elected officials understand the real-world impact of their decisions was instrumental in this recognition.

Silver Award Honors

Madison, Indiana’s Grote Industries, a global leader in high-performance lighting technology, also earned a Silver Award. This recognition highlights the company’s strong partnership and significant engagement in amplifying the industry’s priorities over the past year.
