LAWRENCE CO. — Bertha’s Mission will once again uphold its impactful community tradition by hosting its Annual Free Thanksgiving Dinner this Saturday, November 22nd. The event offers warm meals and fellowship to anyone in need across Lawrence County, with meals served at two locations.

The dinner is open to all—families, individuals, and neighbors seeking a holiday meal or company—and no registration is required.

The free community Thanksgiving dinner will be served from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22nd.

Meals will be available at two convenient locations:

  • Bedford: First Baptist Church of Bedford, located at 1515 20th Street.
  • Mitchell: Jacob Finger United Methodist Church, located at 139 North 8th Street.

Bertha’s Mission operates year-round to combat hunger and provide support to those in need. The Thanksgiving dinner is a long-standing tradition made possible by volunteers, local churches, and donors who come together to prepare and serve a full holiday meal, ensuring no one celebrates alone.
