BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Redevelopment Commission (RDC) has scheduled a meeting for November 13 to address a key agenda focused on local development, budget planning, and project updates.
The meeting will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Room 28 at 916 15th Street.
The commission is set to consider several essential topics, signaling a focus on future development and infrastructure:
- Downtown Mitchell Environmental Assessment: The RDC will consider responses to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for an environmental assessment of the Downtown Mitchell Building.
- Proposed 2026 Budget: Commissioners will review the Proposed RDC Budget for 2026.
- Mitchell Development and Infrastructure: A vital discussion is planned regarding Information About Infrastructure Needs for Potential New Mitchell Development.
- Shell Building Update: The agenda includes a Shell Building Update, a project often central to economic development efforts in the area.
In addition to the main development items, the commission will also handle administrative and operational tasks:
- MOU Approval: Consideration will be given to the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) Marion Township Claim Approval.
