Debra Ann Sanders, 63, of Bedford, IN, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born March 16, 1962, in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of John Franklin and Myrna Lloyd (Owens) Jewell. Debra was a 1980 graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School.
Debra was a member of Charity Chapel Pentecostal Church and Cornerstone Worship Center. She was a homemaker, an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She especially cherished the time spent with her family. She also enjoyed helping others and volunteering. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Debra is survived by her sons, Chris Johnson II of Heltonville, IN, Dustin (Heather) Johnson of Walla Walla, WA, Josh Hill of Peerless, IN, and Tim Roll of Bedford, IN; eight grandchildren, Victoria, CJ, Alethea, Samuel, Isabella, Matty, Courtney and Myrna, her companion, Anthony “Tony” Sanders of Bedford, IN; one sister, Teresa (Danny) Smith of Ellettsville, IN; one brother, Barry Jewell of Bedford, IN; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrna Jewell, and her sister, Patty Davis.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Cornerstone Worship Center, 14045 Old Indiana 37, Bedford, IN. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
