The win highlights the group’s dedication to blending traditional country roots with a modern, high-energy outlaw flair. It features Wes Schrimsher on keys/B3, along with a new lead/steel guitar player, Peter Doyle.

About the Josie Music Awards
The Josie Music Awards (JMAs) are globally recognized as the largest and premier independent music awards, dedicated to honoring and rewarding excellence and outstanding talent across the entire independent music industry.

The awards aim to recognize the creativity and hard work within the independent music industry across all genres of music.
Unlike many shows, every submission is reviewed for consideration by an all-pro panel of judges, which can include Grammy Winners, CMA Writers, record labels, and award-winning media and producers. A panel of peers does not judge the awards.
The “Josie” is considered the most prestigious award in the independent music industry, often serving as a significant achievement and a “career stepping stone”. The recognition can lead to increased visibility, credibility, radio airplay, and collaborations for independent artists.
The first ceremony was held in 2015. The event is a privately owned, licensed company that is not attached to other major music industry events.
Award ceremonies are often held at major Nashville venues such as the Grand Ole Opry House, Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, and Schermerhorn Symphony Center. The 11th Annual JMAs are scheduled to be broadcast on the American Country Network (ACN).
