FRANKLIN, TN — Hardee’s has officially crowned Clint Adkins of Bedford, the winner of the 2025 National Biscuit Baker Competition. Adkins, a valued member of the Hardee’s team since 2012, bested three other national finalists to secure the title and a $10,000 cash prize.

The competition culminated at the CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. headquarters, where finalists were challenged to prepare 52 fresh, fluffy Made from Scratch™ Biscuits in just 15 minutes. Adkins’ victory was attributed to his exceptional technique, consistency, and dedication to the craft.
“The best part about being a biscuit baker is the excitement the customers have and the appreciation my coworkers have for what I do,” Adkins said following his win.
Tony D’Amico, Hardee’s president, praised the team member: “Hardee’s is built on the passion and commitment of team members like Clint. Our biscuit bakers are the secret ingredient to Hardee’s best-in-class breakfast menu, and we are thrilled to honor Clint’s hard work and celebrate the craft that goes into every Made from Scratch Biscuit.”
The biscuits were rigorously judged on several criteria, including color, taste, and consistency. The second-, third-, and fourth-place winners each received a $2,500 prize.
Fans eager to experience Adkins’ award-winning skills can visit the Hardee’s location in Bedford, located at 1510 16th Street, during breakfast hours on weekdays.
