ORLEANS — The community of Orleans and surrounding Orange County is gearing up for one of its most anticipated annual traditions: the 22nd Annual Orange County Homegrown Holiday Market. The event will take place Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Orleans Elementary School, located at 637 E. Washington Street.

Free to attend and with free parking, the indoor market promises unique gifts, a magical atmosphere, and a festive spirit. The market will feature a wide variety of vendors offering everything from baked goods and specialty drinks to woodworking, quilts, clothing, and holiday décor.
This event is a highlight for the region, not only as a chance to get ahead on holiday shopping but also as a gathering that supports the county’s local artisans and homegrown businesses. Orange County Homegrown, which also operates the summer farmers market in Orleans, is dedicated to providing opportunities for local growers, makers, and creators to showcase their work while strengthening community ties.
Local makers, local community
A key draw of the Holiday Market is its strong emphasis on vendors from the immediate area. Attendees can expect to find handmade goods such as doll clothes, crocheted items, blankets and quilts, woven brooms and baskets, custom shirts, soy candles, nativity scenes, and heirloom-quality wooden bowls.

The vendor lineup also includes items like baked goods, specialty drinks, embroidery and woodworking, aprons and bags, jewelry, syrup, yarn, and holiday décor — reflecting the wide range of creative talent within Orange County and neighboring communities.
A beloved community tradition
Organized by Orange County Homegrown, the Holiday Market builds on the success and reputation of its summer markets in Orleans. Each year, residents and visitors look forward to the festive event as a way to connect with neighbors, support small businesses, and celebrate the season in a warm, welcoming environment.
For many, the Holiday Market marks the unofficial start of the local holiday season — a place where the spirit of community shines as brightly as the handcrafted ornaments and decorations on display.
