RTC Communications partners with Baker Tilly to advance AI fluency in Southern Indiana

SOUTHERN INDIANA— RTC Communications has announced a partnership with Baker Tilly, a national advisory and consulting firm, to bolster Artificial Intelligence (AI) fluency within the company and the Southern Indiana communities it serves.

AI fluency is the ability to understand, communicate, and strategically apply artificial intelligence (AI) in real-world contexts, rather than being limited to technical expertise.

The collaboration will focus on implementing “Collaborative AI,” a strategy that emphasizes the responsible and practical application of AI technologies. The initiative is designed to prepare both RTC employees and community partners for the opportunities and challenges posed by an AI-driven future.

RTC recently showcased its leadership in AI adoption at the Indiana Regional Broadband Association Leadership Forum, highlighting internal tools that are already enhancing its marketing, operations, human resources, and finance departments.

CEO Kirk Lehman affirmed that the partnership aligns with RTC’s long-term mission. “We’re preparing our employees, customers, and communities not just to keep pace, but to lead in an AI-enabled world,” Lehman stated.
